## About the role

We are seeking a Reinsurance Underwriter to join Coalition’s fast growing Coalition Re team. Since binding our first treaty in 2025, we have seen tremendous demand for our proprietary scanning and aggregation modeling expertise. To support this growth we are building the underwriting bench. This is a foundational role for someone early in their career who wants to learn cyber reinsurance underwriting from the ground up.

## What they're looking for

- 3+ years of relevant experience in reinsurance, underwriting, brokerage, actuarial, or data analytics
- Strong analytical skills and advanced comfort working with large and imperfect data sets
- Understanding of treaty structures, pricing concepts, portfolio construction, policy wording and contract terms
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly around data quality, documentation, and version control
- Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to summarize technical analysis for underwriters, brokers, and cedants
