## About the role

This role blends strategy, capture, relationship-building, and problem-solving. You’ll partner directly with company execs to inform, co-develop, execute, and lead Code Metal’s GTM strategy for the Navy. This role is ideal for someone who understands the current and emerging problems that the Navy faces and is excited to figure out how Code Metal can address those problems. You will quarterback engagements from introduction to contract execution, and navigate Code Metal through the service.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (MBA a plus)
- Navy fluency
- Experience in business development, capture, or GTM leadership within government or defense technology sectors with a proven history of success
- Deep understanding of DOW acquisition, procurement, and team structures and processes
- Proven track record of expanding business, or getting the Navy bureaucracy to adopt a major, new initiative
- Demonstrated success driving multi-million-dollar defense programs or contracts
