We're hiring an Operations Associate to own the day-to-day operations that keep Cogent running - ranging across people operations, workplace operations, events, and special projects. You'll work across the business rather than sitting inside one function. This role offers rare exposure to how a category-defining company is built end to end, making it a strong fit for someone excited by company-building and long-term leadership growth.

## What they're looking for

- 2+ years of experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally at a startup (open to less if you're high-slope and quick to pick things up)
- Background in an ambiguous, cross-functional role - people operations, workplace operations, office management, or events management
- A self-starter who can unblock themselves and drive work without heavy direction
- Good taste and a point of view on what makes an office, an offsite, or an onboarding experience actually good, not just checked off a list
- Comfortable owning work across very different domains without dropping details
- Energized by a fast-moving, high-intensity environment rather than drained by it
