## About the role

We’re looking for an IT Engineer to own the employee technology experience in our New York or London office while helping scale Cognition’s global IT operations. As the face of IT for the office, this person will ensure employees have secure, reliable technology and responsive support. They will also improve how IT operates by turning recurring work into durable tooling, automation, and AI-enabled workflows.

## What they're looking for

- Serve as the primary IT partner for employees in the office, providing responsive support across devices, applications, access, conferencing, and workplace technology
- Own the reliability and employee experience of office technology, including wired and wireless networks, conferencing, vendor coordination, and hardware and software asset lifecycle management
- Own the improvements needed to support rapid regional growth, partnering with the global IT team on office expansions, moves, infrastructure changes, operational handoffs, runbooks, skills, and knowledge bases
- 3+ years of experience in IT engineering, systems administration, technical support, or a related role
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline—or equivalent practical experience
- Experience delivering high-quality, hands-on IT support in an onsite environment
