## About the role

Cohesity's Security portfolio turns the backup estate into an active line of cyber defense: FortKnox (immutable, air-gapped cyber vaulting), Threat Defense (AI-powered threat detection), Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), Data Classification, and Identity Resilience (Active Directory and Entra ID recovery). This is a full portfolio, not a single product, and building the technical team that can sell all of it — together, to the same accounts, over multiple years — is the reason this role exists.

## What they're looking for

- 8+ years in solutions architecture, sales engineering, or technical consulting in enterprise infrastructure, security, or data protection, including 2+ years leading a technical architect or sales-engineering team
- A track record building a technical architect function at an early stage — hiring, ramp, and methodology — not just inheriting an already-mature team
- Deep fluency in cyber resilience, credible at the CISO and board level, and experience influencing product roadmap from the field
- Experience operating as the technical peer to a sales leader — joint accountability for a number without direct commercial ownership of it
- Proven people leadership, and strong presence in front of company leadership, customers, and partners
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making
