## What they're looking for

- 3+ years of backend engineering experience building and maintaining production low-latency systems
- Hands-on experience with at least one area of market data infrastructure (feed handlers, normalization, or distribution)
- Proficiency in low-latency Java (or C++) and familiarity with high-throughput messaging frameworks (Aeron, SBE, or similar)
- Familiarity with venue/exchange connectivity and market data protocols (FIX, ITCH/OUCH, multicast)
- Track record shipping features end-to-end and operating what you build in production
- Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality
