## About the role

As we scale, we're making our first dedicated chargeback & fraud hire, a hands-on practitioner who will build our fraud function from the ground up: fraud tooling, investigations workflow, alert triage, and bank-partner reporting. This role reports to our Risk Manager within the broader Risk & Compliance organization, and requires 5–8 years of relevant experience . ## What they're looking for

- 5–8 years of experience in chargeback & fraud prevention, detection, investigations, or remediation within a payment service provider, Acquirer, or fintech platform
- Merchant fraud: Fraudulent merchant onboarding/boarding fraud, transaction laundering, bust-out schemes, collusive merchant activity
- User/cardholder fraud: Account takeover (ATO), card testing, card-not-present (CNP) fraud, scams and social engineering
- Working knowledge of card brand fraud and chargeback monitoring programs such as VAMP, ECM, SMMP, VIRP, BRAM, etc., and experience remediating merchants against these thresholds
- Experience building or significantly improving fraud tooling, case management workflows, or investigations processes. This is a builder, not just an operator
