## About the role

The Senior Site Due Diligence Design Engineer plays a critical role in CoreWeave’s data center development pipeline by providing the first comprehensive technical evaluation of prospective sites. As the initial engineering representative in the site selection and due diligence process, this individual brings a broad, multidisciplinary perspective to determine how well a site can support CoreWeave’s requirements across all major design disciplines.

## What they're looking for

- 7+ years of experience in data center engineering, MEP consulting, site selection, due diligence, or early-phase design/development
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering—or equivalent relevant experience
- Broad technical competency across electrical, mechanical, civil/structural, and architectural fundamentals, ability to evaluate multi-discipline issues without full SME support
- Strong understanding of utility infrastructure (power delivery, substations, feeders, water sources, permitting considerations, etc.) and their impact on site feasibility
- Experience reviewing capacity offers, conceptual site plans, utility data, and building documentation from data center providers or developers
- Familiarity with land use, zoning, and entitlement processes, and the ability to identify regulatory risks that may affect feasibility or schedule
