## What they're looking for

- Drive the strategy for the next wave of security products - market analysis, customer discovery, competitive landscape, and a clear recommendation on what to do first, second, and not at all
- Build the business case for each area - the customer problem, market size, why Cribl can win, build / partner / buy options, and what it takes to get there
- Lead execution for what we fund - define the product, write the requirements, set success metrics, and drive delivery with engineering from 0 to 1 and beyond
- Make it one platform - make sure new capabilities work natively with Cribl Detect (shared data model, detections, alerts, and workflows), not as a set of separate tools
- Spend real time with customers - CISOs, SOC managers, detection engineers, and analysts - and work with design partners to validate direction before we commit
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, and technology partners on positioning, packaging, launch, and field enablement
