## About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work alongside a supportive, high-impact team of skilled developers to improve how our teams deploy and access services, how data moves across our platform, and how we automate operations to enable future scale. Our teams specialize in developing robust and scalable Go microservices, leveraging a modern tech stack that includes AWS, Docker, Postgres, and Kafka.

## What they're looking for

- Strong Technical Foundation: 4+ years of hands-on software development experience, including at least 2 years working with strongly-typed languages (Go, Java, C#, etc.)
- Microservices Expertise: Demonstrated experience designing and developing microservices within cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Code Quality: A proven ability to write maintainable, high-quality, and robust code with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
- Data & Messaging Proficiency: Experience working with SQL databases and a solid knowledge of message queues (Kafka, SQS) and asynchronous processing patterns
- Effective Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to describe technical designs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Infrastructure & Methodology: Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure, basic networking, and Agile/Kanban methodologies
