## About the role

The Accounting Associate is responsible for supporting core accounting operations and ensuring the integrity, accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting across a complex, multi-entity organization. This role plays a key part in maintaining strong internal controls, supporting key components of the close process, and partnering cross-functionally to drive operational efficiency and financial clarity across the organization. ## What they're looking for

- Support day-to-day accounting operations, including the general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, and other assigned accounting areas
- Review and analyze balance-sheet and income-statement accounts, identifying period-over-period variances, unusual activity, reconciliation differences, and areas requiring investigation or corrective action
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for accuracy, completeness, appropriate classification, and adequate documentation, subject to review by the Accounting Manager
- Support intercompany and intracompany accounting, including charge-downs, due-to and due-from balances, settlements, and the timely resolution of differences across entities
- Coordinate with subsidiary finance teams to support consistent accounting, close timing, intercompany activity, and delivery of required financial information
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies and procedures, escalating complex or judgmental matters as appropriate
