## About the role

DTEX is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer – OpenSearch to join our engineering team. In this role, you will lead the development and optimization of large-scale OpenSearch clusters, contribute to our Insider Risk Management (IRM) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) products, and actively engage with the open-source community. You’ll work closely with internal teams, clients, and global collaborators to drive innovation in search technologies.

## What they're looking for

- Minimum 10 years of software engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Deep expertise in OpenSearch internals while handling terabytes of data across multiple nodes
- Proficiency in data management: ingestion pipelines, field mappings, cluster integrity, and search/aggregation tuning
- Proven experience migrating large-scale Elasticsearch 6.x clustered deployments to OpenSearch 2.x or above
- Strong proficiency in Python and good understanding of JVM ecosystems
