## About the role

Build, maintain, and improve Python/FastAPI backend services, REST APIs, and WebSocket endpoints. Develop features for device provisioning, fleet management, telemetry, events, device status, firmware management, and OTA updates.

## What they're looking for

- Required
- 5+ years of backend software development experience in production systems
- Strong Python experience and hands-on experience with FastAPI, Django, Flask, or comparable backend frameworks
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL, schema design, migrations, query optimization, and data lifecycle management
- Experience with AWS services—or comparable cloud platforms—with hands-on AWS experience preferred, especially EC2, Lambda, S3, Cognito, and infrastructure-as-code
- Experience with MQTT, WebSockets, message-driven architecture, or real-time data delivery
