## About the role

As the Lab Operations Manager at Eikon, you will be a critical member of our team by supporting scientists and engineers in a fast-paced work environment. You will be responsible for maintaining day-to-day operations of the laboratories, supporting equipment and supplies, and partnering with EH&S, Facilities, IT, and other teams. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

## What they're looking for

- Oversee and optimize day-to-day lab operations in support of science and engineering teams
- Serve as the primary point of contact for lab operational needs, coordinating with Facilities, EH&S, IT, Procurement, vendors, and scientific teams
- Manage lab consumables and inventory, including purchasing, vendor management, receiving, storage, organization, and maintaining appropriate stock levels
- Manage lab equipment, including installation, preventative maintenance, calibration, repairs, training, relocation, and decommissioning
- Maintain equipment and asset records, service schedules, warranties, and vendor documentation
- Coordinate lab support activities, including glassware washing, autoclaving, freezer defrosting, lab cleanups, and general lab organization
