## About the role

ElevateBio is seeking a Senior Director of Communications to develop and lead a proactive communications strategy for our growing, multi-site biotech/CDMO organization. This role will have a particular focus on transforming internal communications, helping employees understand our strategy, priorities, key initiatives, and how their work connects to the broader organization.

## What they're looking for

- · Bachelor’s degree and 18+ years of progressive experience in corporate, internal, or strategic communications, ideally within biotech or life sciences
- · Exceptional writing, editing, and messaging skills, with the ability to translate complex business and technical information into clear, engaging communications
- · Demonstrated ability to develop communications strategies, exercise strong judgment, has professional maturity when working with sensitive or confidential information
- · Experience leading communications through growth and transformation, with a strategic yet hands-on approach to planning and executing high-impact communications strategy
- · Ability to influence without authority, build strong cross-functional relationships, create alignment among stakeholders, and bring structure, clarity, and consistency to an evolving environment
- · Experience managing and developing communications professionals
