## About the role

We are looking for an Affordable Housing Compliance Analyst to conduct first-pass reviews of resident files across the affordable housing programs our platform supports. You will apply established program rules and review guidance to check resident files for accuracy, flagging complex or ambiguous cases for escalation to our Tier 2 compliance team.

## What they're looking for

- We are looking for the following capabilities. If you do not meet all of these qualifications, but are passionate about affordable housing, have a demonstrated interest in the field, and are a quick learner, we still encourage you to apply
- 1+ years of hands-on affordable housing compliance file review, auditing, or related property management/compliance experience — or a demonstrated interest in the field with strong analytical skills and a track record of quickly learning detailed rules
- Working knowledge of affordable housing programs — LIHTC (Section 42), HUD Section 8 (HCV, PBV, PBRA), and/or USDA Rural Development — including income and asset determinations, certifications and recertifications, and tenant file requirements
- Comfort following established guidelines and escalation criteria — you know when to apply a rule and when to flag something for senior review
- Certifications such as COS, SHCM, TCS, BOS, HCCP, or NCP are a plus, but not required
- Clear written communication — able to document findings precisely and completely
