## About the role

This is an exciting time at Enigma. We’re on the cusp of releasing our next generation of small business intelligence products built on years of learnings in the space. We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our Entity Resolution team and help shape the trajectory of these products. Your work will directly impact the accuracy, scalability, and predictive capabilities of our data platform, influencing key business decisions for our customers.

- Brings 6-8+ years of industry experience in statistics, experiment design, and distributed machine learning, with a track record of using it creatively to deliver customer impact
- Has experience as a tech lead or as a mentor to other data scientists
- Holds strong opinions and defends them, but is open-minded to other perspectives and approaches. Disagrees openly, commits completely, and never lets a debate cost the team its momentum
- Communicates effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
- Can’t leave a data problem alone until it’s right. Learns fast, ships fast, and would rather put something real in front of customers this month than something perfect next year
- Takes a principled, metrics-driven approach to solving complex data problems
