## About the role

Our site in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Senior Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering to join our team. The Manufacturing Engineer will own sustaining and quality assurance activities for commercial products and lead continuous improvement projects to drive process efficiency and reduce product variation. The Engineer will work closely with various business functions to support manufacturing processes and resolve customer product quality inquiries.

- Reduce variation in product and process parameters by identifying key contributors to variation and implementing effective control systems and enhanced manufacturing processes
- Act as a mentor to the Process Engineering Technician role and direct the role’s day-to-day and long-term project activities based on business need
- Develop and execute Design of Experiment trials, manage new product scale-ups, and lead new equipment installations & qualifications as dictated by business need
- Manage the development of processing equipment operating programs and parameters
- Perform machine breakdown resolution by providing expertise and hands-on assistance to remedy and correct issues. Manage external repair resources as needed for technical repairs
