## About the role

The Recovery Coach is an integral member of a patient’s multidisciplinary care team. The role of the Recovery Coach is to ensure patients successfully integrate into Equip treatment by adhering to their care plans and fully engaging in treatment. This goal is achieved through proactively identifying and addressing barriers to treatment, identifying opportunities to personalize Equip’s programming to address patient needs, and providing key skills and tools for recovery.

## What they're looking for

- Lived experience with eating disorder recovery with ability to identify as being in a solid space of recovery
- 2+ years of experience working directly with patients in a setting that utilizes protocolized care – including, but not limited to, coaching, case management, mentorship, social work, or milieu therapy
- Proven comfort working within structured care models or evidence-based protocols (e.g., following specific clinical guidelines, behavior change frameworks, or care plans)
- Proven ability to balance structured protocols with personalization, meeting patients where they are while keeping them on track with their care goals
- A proven track record of taking accountability for patient care plans, using evidence-based frameworks to keep patients on track and meet clinical milestones
- Experience guiding patients and families in achievement of treatment goals while identifying barriers and problem-solving to alleviate
