## About the role

This role is intended for a senior Business Intelligence Analyst who can operate across business process discovery, requirements engineering, data analysis, and migration validation. The analyst will work directly with Finance and HR subject matter experts to understand current-state data warehouse usage, document the future-state needs for Fabric, and help engineering teams convert business requirements into actionable technical specifications.

## What they're looking for

- 5+ years of direct business analysis experience supporting data, analytics, business intelligence, or data warehouse initiatives for Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Payroll, or similarly controlled business domains
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications, data mappings, acceptance criteria, test plans, and development-ready backlog items
- Intermediate to advanced querying and analysis skills using T-SQL, SQL Server tools, Excel, and similar data profiling or validation approaches
- Working knowledge of dimensional modeling concepts, semantic models, reporting layers, measures, KPIs, hierarchies, and data lineage
- Experience supporting data validation, reconciliation, defect triage, UAT, stakeholder sign-off, and production readiness for business-critical reporting or data products
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to adapt messaging for SMEs, engineers, product owners, managers, and executive stakeholders
