## About the role

You'll support and accelerate Everlaw's contracting engine, helping manage deal volume while building out modern, AI-assisted legal workflows. Working closely with Commercial Counsel, you will review, redline, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements while acting as a responsive, business-minded partner to our Sales and Finance teams. This is a full-time, exempt position based in our Oakland, CA office with a hybrid work schedule: in office M/W/Th with the option to work from home on Tu/Fr.

## What they're looking for

- Review, redline, and negotiate customer-facing SaaS subscription agreements, order forms, NDAs, and statements of work using Everlaw's standard positions and playbooks
- Review and negotiate inbound vendor and software licenses, professional services agreements, and procurement contracts
- Apply, maintain, and update Everlaw's contract playbooks, fallback positions, and standard form agreements as our business and legal landscape evolve
- Serve as a responsive legal partner to Sales and Finance, offering pragmatic advice on contract terms affecting revenue recognition, billing structures, and deal velocity
- Thoughtfully integrate approved AI productivity tools into daily workflows to optimize contract review, issue spotting, drafting, and negotiation preparation
- Answer day-to-day contract questions from internal stakeholders and keep pace with legal developments in SaaS, AI, data privacy, and cloud technologies
