## About the role

Organizations switch to ExaCare because their admission processes are broken. They rely on multiple outdated platforms and error-prone manual work to admit residents. This fragmentation wastes time and leads to suboptimal care and business outcomes. We’re looking for a high-ownership Senior Platform Engineer to build and scale the infrastructure, backend systems, and internal platform capabilities that power ExaCare’s products and engineering velocity.

## What they're looking for

- Improve developer velocity. Create internal tooling, deployment automation, developer workflows, feature flag systems, and platform abstractions that help the engineering team ship faster and more confidently
- Architect scalable backend systems. Design APIs, background processing systems, event-driven workflows, queues, and integrations that support complex healthcare operations at scale
- Drive platform innovation. Evaluate and implement modern infrastructure patterns, AI-powered developer workflows, and scalable cloud-native technologies that improve engineering productivity and product capabilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally. Work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to translate business needs into robust technical systems and platform capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend systems, infrastructure, platform engineering, or DevOps
