## About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, technical QA / Data Collection Engineer to assist with test execution, issue reporting, and hardware-level troubleshooting. In this role, you will run proprietary collection software, execute structured test plans, and perform exploratory testing to ensure seamless performance across target environments.

- Software Setup & Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain collection and QA software on personal hardware that meets target operational specifications
- Test Execution: Perform structured test plans alongside ad-hoc exploratory QA before and during data collection runs
- Issue Reproduction & Logging: Identify and reproduce bugs, gather necessary crash logs and screenshots, and write clear, step-by-step reproduction instructions
- Communication & Escalation: Document and report findings concisely via Slack in written English, escalating critical issues to team leads as appropriate
- Feedback Filtering: Serve as a first-line triage layer, filtering out noise to deliver concise, high-signal technical feedback to client engineering teams
- Technical Background: Educational background in IT/Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience in technical support and troubleshooting
