## About the role

F5, Inc. is seeking an experienced and technically capable Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team in Seattle, WA. This role will primarily manage fixed asset accounting, lease accounting under ASC 842, internal-use software capitalization under ASC 350-40, and cloud computing arrangement implementation cost accounting under ASC 350-40 (as amended by ASU 2018-15).

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- CPA designation or equivalent professional certification is preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public companies or high-growth organizations
- Proven experience in managing the accounting close process, including internal reporting, fluctuation analysis, and execution of SOX internal controls in a dynamic environment
- Experience in working within financial ERP systems (Oracle, Coupa, etc.), reconciliation tools (Blackline), lease accounting tools (LeaseQuery), and AI and financial automation tools, strongly preferred
- Experienced in US GAAP and internal controls, lease accounting under ASC 842, and accounting for fixed assets
