## About the role

Faire is hiring a Senior Counsel, Privacy & Product to help our teams build and ship a global wholesale marketplace that handles data thoughtfully. This role is ideal for a privacy expert who also loves to work directly with product teams and advise on a range of legal topics. Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, you will partner closely with our product and engineering teams, helping them craft practical solutions to navigate legal complexity.

## What they're looking for

- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and an active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 5+ years of legal experience at a law firm, in-house, or both, including substantive privacy work
- Deep expertise in global privacy law, including EU and UK GDPR, CCPA and other state laws, and emerging frameworks
- Experience counseling advertising product teams and/or online marketplaces is a plus
- Experience with litigation or regulator engagement is a plus
- Actively experimenting with AI in legal work, and excited to go deeper
