## About the role

The Compliance Officer, Caymans will be based in our New York City office and serve as the dedicated compliance manager for FalconX’s Cayman Islands operations. In this role, you will oversee regulatory adherence under the applicable Cayman Islands regulatory framework, including the Proceeds of Crime Act and Cayman Anti-Money Laundering Regulations (AMLRs).

## What they're looking for

- Experience: 5 –10 years of financial compliance, legal, or regulatory experience with dedicated exposure to derivatives products (commodities or securities based)
- Institutional Background: Experience working within a US-headquartered broker-dealer, crypto platform, asset manager, or law firm managing offshore Cayman structures
- Crypto Knowledge: Solid understanding of institutional digital asset market structure, execution flows, and custody models
- Certifications: ACAMS, ICA, or equivalent compliance credentials preferred
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience drafting regulatory responses and board-level presentations
