## About the role

We’re hiring a Motion Designer to join the Fieldguide team. You’ll own the animations, product explainers, and campaign pieces that bring our product and brand to life. You'll take dense, technical product and brand concepts and turn them into visual stories that are sharp, credible, and engaging.

## What they're looking for

- A strong portfolio of motion work that demonstrates visual storytelling, art direction, animation craft, and visual systems thinking
- A track record of making technical ideas visually clear. The ability to look at a paragraph of product or strategy language and see the animation in it
- Deep fluency in motion design tools and workflows such as After Effects, Figma, Cinema 4D, Lottie, Rive, code-adjacent motion, or comparable production tools
- Strong typography and systems thinking: you can build a visual language once and reuse it consistently across many pieces
- Comfortable working in Figma and collaborating directly with Product Designers to translate complex UI into marketing motion
- A team player who brings a unique sense of aesthetics and passion for bringing concepts to life
