## About the role

You will play a significant role in shaping the Fieldwire platform by identifying and championing process and infrastructure improvements, and by setting technical direction for the systems that support the entire engineering organization. As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will own the design, maintenance, and reliability of the cloud infrastructure and production systems that power our applications, which are critical for the construction teams that use Fieldwire to save time and money on the job site.

- Designing, building, and automating the Software Development Lifecycle and Infrastructure that powers Fieldwire
- Owning the reliability and performance of production systems, including leading incident response, driving root-cause analysis, and implementing preventative measures
- Developing and maintaining monitoring, alerting, and observability systems to ensure maximum uptime and surface the metrics that inform engineering decisions
- Leading the troubleshooting and resolution of complex issues related to application performance, scalability, and security across Fieldwire's systems
