## About the role

Gather and translate mission requirements working with DOD customers and Account Executives to turn ambiguous operational problems into clear, buildable technical requirements and use cases. Support requirements identification and shaping partnering with capture and product teams to identify emerging mission requirements early and shape them ahead of a formal solicitation.

## What they're looking for

- 6+ years in a deeply technical role — AI Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, or a software engineering / technical product role — with meaningful hands-on engineering or product depth
- Demonstrated ability to configure and build against development requirements — you can turn a use case into a working, demonstrable solution, not just present a fixed demo
- Experience translating ambiguous, mission-driven problems into clear technical requirements that an engineering team can build against
- Strong technical foundation: the ability to reason about architecture, data, integration, and AI/LLM systems, and to work credibly alongside engineers
- Experience building or deploying systems powered by LLMs or generative/agentic AI, and an understanding of how model behavior shapes the solution
- Deep understanding of the DOD/national-security customer — how mission owners and program offices operate — and the ability to speak their language
