## About the role

The Principal HL7 Integration Engineer oversees all technical aspects of Synapse product HL7 integration, from install, configure and validation phases through product go-live, for all Synapse MI products. The Principal HL7 Integration Engineer must have expert level knowledge in all areas of medical informatics, IT infrastructure design and deployment, medical imaging industry in general and clinical environment workflow.

## What they're looking for

- BS, BE or equivalent degree in computer related field. AA with significant experience working in a related industry
- Experienced in use and applicability of HL-7 and DICOM standards
- Experienced in working with relational databases (Oracle and SQL Server)
- Minimum of 6-8 years’ experience in HL7 integration in a hospital related environment
- Must be able to implement HL7 integration to 3rd party vendors for at least one or more Fuji Synapse product lines independently
- Strong knowledge of HL7 v2 (ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, DFT, MDM), DICOM, FHIR, and IHE profiles
