## About the role

The Vice President of Legal sits at the nexus of FinQuery's legal, compliance, and transactional strategies as the company organically scales its platform, expands product and service offerings, and executes strategic transactions. As the senior-most professional within the legal function, you will build and run a legal operations function that delivers fast, high-quality, and rigorous support across corporate governance, commercial contracting, compliance, and transaction execution.

## What they're looking for

- Juris Doctor degree with active bar admission in good standing in at least one US jurisdiction
- Minimum of 12 years of related legal experience including significant in-house experience at a technology or SaaS company
- Demonstrated track record of building efficient in-house legal operations and high-throughput contracting functions
- Proven experience leading M&A transactions, diligence, and integration in a private equity-backed environment
- History of serving as primary legal advisor to executive leadership, boards, and sponsor-level stakeholders
- Experience operating effectively within lean legal teams by leveraging technology, process design, and outside counsel
