## About the role

Fireworks AI is looking for an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to own and scale the company's technical accounting and financial reporting function as the business grows rapidly.

## What they're looking for

- 6–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including technical accounting and external reporting, public accounting background preferred
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with hands-on ownership of ASC 606, ASC 842, and ASC 718, familiarity with ASC 808 and ASC 350-40 a plus
- Experience analyzing non-standard commercial arrangements and partnership or revenue share structures and translating them into supportable accounting conclusions
- Demonstrated ability to write clear, well-reasoned technical accounting memos
- Experience documenting processes through flowcharts, narratives, and control matrices, and using that documentation to strengthen controls
- Experience preparing financial statements and footnote disclosures
