## What they're looking for

- iOS Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on experience building complex, production-grade native iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C
- Domain Knowledge (Payments): Proven track record working with payment processors, EMV kernels, ISO 8583 / point-of-sale protocols, or card-present payment architectures
- Hardware/SDK Integration: Hands-on experience integrating external Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), MFi (Made for iPhone), or USB accessories/readers into iOS apps
- Certification Standards: Experience navigating payment industry standards (PCI-DSS, PCI-PTS, EMVCo) and executing device certification cycles
- Debugging & Architecture: Deep understanding of secure key management, cryptographic protocols (DUKPT, AES, RSA), multithreading, and low-level protocol debugging
- Prior experience with POS (Point of Sale) platforms or reader hardware (e.g., Clover, Square, Ingenico, Verifone)
