## About the role

The Cloud Onboarding Architect Lead is the technical leader for Guided Setup across our dbt enterprise customer base. You’ll own the most complex and highest-visibility setup engagements while also helping define how the entire team delivers setup at scale. ## What they're looking for

- Deep, hands-on experience with dbt (2-3 years minimum) as an account admin and data practitioner, at a level where you're a trusted authority on the platform
- Prior experience as a Cloud Onboarding Architect / Implementation Consultant (or directly equivalent role) — this is not an entry point into the setup team
- Track record of mentoring or coaching less experienced teammates on technical and soft skills
- Comfort owning ambiguous, cross-functional problems without a clear playbook — and building the playbook yourself
- Strong written and verbal communication, able to represent the setup team's perspective to Engineering, Product, and customer executives alike
- Ability to tailor consistent white glove setup experiences based on an account’s size and strategic importance
