## About the role

We are seeking a Senior Research Associate, Histology contractor to join the Platform Group at Mirai Bio to support laboratory research activities towards development of novel technologies enabling next generation genomic medicines. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the technical and equipment needs in a lab as well as significant hands-on experience with standard histology, cell culturing and in vitro cell biology techniques.

## What they're looking for

- BS or MS in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related scientific discipline
- BS + 5 years of relevant industry or research experience
- MS + 3 years of relevant industry or research experience
- Previous experience with histology evaluation and in vitro cell based assays is required
- Strong cell culture experience, including experience executing protocols, troubleshooting assays is preferred
- Prior experience working with lipid nanoparticles is a plus
