## About the role

As a member of the R&D team, your mission will be to reliably maintain the quality of machine vision read rates and software configurations across our network of sites in Canada and the US. You’ll also be a subject matter expert on our proprietary technologies, software and hardware applications, and you will partner with internal teams to troubleshoot and develop solutions to technical issues.

## What they're looking for

- University Degree or diploma in Computer Science, computer engineering or related degree, diploma, and/or applicable work experience
- Experience with image processing and/or optics. Strong knowledge and experience in lighting and imaging principles, machine vision techniques, and algorithms
- Proficient in programming languages, such as C, C++, C# and python
- Excels at solving problems, are motivated and methodical, and have high attention to detail
- Write clean, reliable, and secure code (C, C++, C#) and believe in following coding best practices
- An ability to recognize and prioritize projects and urgent tasks
