## About the role

This is a pivotal opportunity to architect and scale the HR function across Flexport's growing fulfillment network. You will partner directly with Operations leadership, driving the strategic transition from a contingent to a full-time workforce. This involves building comprehensive HR capabilities from the ground up in states like New Jersey, Wisconsin, Texas, Georgia, and California.

## What they're looking for

- Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy tailored for Flexport's Omni (fulfillment) operations, aligning with business objectives and growth plans
- Lead the strategic transition from a temporary to a full-time workforce across all fulfillment centers, including legal compliance, policy development, talent acquisition, and employee integration
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing HR team across multiple geographically dispersed fulfillment center locations
- Ensure robust multi-state compliance for all HR policies, practices, and programs, mitigating risk in a heavily regulated environment and manage claims and adherence to the policies
- Partner effectively with Operations leadership to drive talent management, workforce planning, employee relations, and performance management initiatives
- Champion and drive culture, employee engagement, and diversity & inclusion initiatives across the Omni network
