- Retail industry familiarity is a strong plus — you know its major trade shows and how buyers show up at them
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills — multiple events and deadlines at once, without dropping a detail
- Proven budget ownership and ROI fluency. You've built and managed event budgets, negotiated with vendors and organizers, and used performance data to inform future strategy
- Strong leadership on the ground — comfortable directing teams and vendors in a fast-paced environment, and holding partners accountable without losing the relationship
- A natural collaborator who translates creative and content teams' ideas into flawless execution
