- You've managed commercial property and casualty insurance programs yourself, on the corporate risk management or brokerage side, and you know how property, construction, and liability lines actually get structured, placed, and priced
- You've run claims to resolution, including large or contested ones, coordinating litigation counsel, TPAs, adjusters, and carriers on strategy rather than just processing paperwork
- You've worked property risk engineering in the field: walking sites, pushing loss control recommendations through the people who own the fix, and knowing what underwriters will flag before they do
- You've built renewal submissions under hard deadlines with high-volume, messy exposure data pulled from stakeholders who had other priorities
- You read contracts for insurance terms and catch the gap between what an agreement requires and what a policy actually covers
