## About the role

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to help build and scale the platform behind Flywire’s global payment engine, moving hundreds of millions every day across education, healthcare, travel and B2B payments. *** This role is hybrid/office based in Valencia, Spain . This is crucial. We also welcome applications from candidates based in other cities in Spain who are open to relocating to Valencia. ***

## What they're looking for

- Around 2 years’ experience in software or application development
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, ideally with experience in backend or full stack development
- Experience building or working with APIs, web services or REST based architecture
- Good understanding of object oriented design or similar programming principles
- Some exposure to relational databases
- Interest in scalable systems, cloud platforms and reliability
