## About the role

We are looking for a hands-on Controller to build fomo's accounting function from the ground up. This is a foundational role for someone who can set the strategy, create the systems, and still work directly in the details. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you will partner with leadership to support strategic decision-making, risk management, capital planning, and organizational growth.

## What they're looking for

- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including meaningful ownership of close, reporting, controls, and accounting operations. A combination of public accounting and in-house operating experience is ideal
- CPA required (or equivalent international certification), Big 4 or equivalent technical accounting foundation strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success implementing and managing accounting tools, experience with a crypto or digital-asset subledger is preferred
- Experience in a high-growth startup, fintech, web3, trading, payments, or another complex, data-intensive environment
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and technical accounting
- Experience building accounting processes and controls from an early stage and improving them as transaction volume and organizational complexity increase
