## About the role

Fora is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to help us run the business more efficiently. As we scale, we're looking for someone to own the growth operating model behind our forecasting, planning, and goal-setting processes, and guide strategic decisions for our founders and senior leadership team.

## What they're looking for

- 5+ years in business data science, business analytics, or strategy and analytics. Experience at consumer or marketplace companies preferred
- Experience building financial or operating models using quantitative methods such as forecasting, regression analysis, and cohort analysis
- Advanced SQL skills are essential. Proficiency in Python or another scripting language preferred
- Hands-on experience with a modern cloud data stack (e.g. Airbyte, BigQuery, dbt, Hex, Omni, or equivalents) and data modeling best practices
- Experience using LLM tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, OpenAI Codex) to accelerate analysis and prototyping
- Strong communication and storytelling skills
