## About the role

Own Critical Services: Be responsible for critical services that power our applications, such as the compute and data storage layers powering Forage's payments processing and consumer app API systems. Manage CI/CD: Help manage, improve and evolve our CI/CD pipeline, focusing on speed and reliability.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years focused on infrastructure/DevOps/SRE work
- Experience with AWS (or another major cloud provider) and infrastructure-as-code tooling (e.g. Terraform, CDK, Pulumi, CloudFormation)
- Practice preparing systems for production use — come with experience implementing monitoring, autoscaling, and security concerns in live services
- Proven track record of owning complex systems — e.g. containerized deployments using cloud databases
- Strong, remote-first, communication skills, able to collaborate across engineering and non-engineering stakeholders
