## What they're looking for

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Certification: Active CPA license is strictly required
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including a minimum of 4–5 years at a Big 4 or top-tier public accounting firm
- Public Company Expertise: Direct experience managing SEC reporting and technical accounting for a publicly traded organization
- Technical Mastery: Deep, practical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX 404 compliance
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex accounting concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-accounting executives
