## About the role

Forter is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel, Corporate & Securities to join our fast-growing Legal team. We have a huge opportunity in front of us, and the person we hire for this role will play a key part in ensuring we can seize it. Reporting to our General Counsel, this role will be the sole dedicated corporate and securities lawyer, focusing on corporate, securities, equity, strategic transactions and more, as well as employment and litigation matters.

## What they're looking for

- 5+ years of experience as a corporate and securities counsel. Not required, but a bonus if you have experience working in-house
- General corporate transactional experience with a strong background in securities laws, comfortable negotiating and managing corporate transactions (debt and equity financing, secondaries, M&As, JVs)
- Experience working at a high growth technology company, in particular at a B2B software or SaaS company
- High ethical standards and strong communication skills
- Willingness to work cross-functionally and on projects that are new and/or unfamiliar
- Ability to work on multiple issues simultaneously and set appropriate priorities while delivering results efficiently
