## About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to work at the core of our product—scaling our architecture, shipping powerful features, and solving complex, real-world problems. You’ll collaborate closely with the CTO and the product team. You’ll also leverage AI Coding tools as part of your toolkit. If you thrive on clean code, scalable systems, crisp communication, and thoughtful product decisions, we’d love to hear from you.

## What they're looking for

- Own backend features end-to-end: scope → design → implement → test → ship → observe
- Build production-grade web services and APIs (primarily in PHP with Symfony )
- Write efficient SQL (MySQL) and use Doctrine ORM effectively, tune queries and indexes
- Improve reliability and performance through thoughtful design, profiling, and instrumentation
- Partner with Product and Design to turn requirements into simple, lovable solutions
- Raise the bar on engineering standards, tooling, observability, and developer experience
