## About the role

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Software Engineer to join our Engineering team. Garner’s Engineering team tackles incredibly hard technical problems for a mission that truly matters. Our systems analyze billions of medical records to rank healthcare providers across the country. We are an AWS + Kubernetes shop, and we are constantly introducing new technologies as our system load doubles every year.

## What they're looking for

- 4+ years of software engineering experience
- A generalist software engineering mindset ready to learn new languages, frameworks, and techniques required for a fast paced startup environment
- Demonstrated ability to build complex systems using AI coding agents (we use Claude Code)
- The ability to learn quickly and mentor others
- Familiarity with data security and HIPAA compliance
