## About the role

The Senior V&V Engineer – HIL & Bench will build, execute, and scale Gatik’s hardware-in-the-loop testing infrastructure. In this role, you will test autonomous vehicle software on production compute units, ECUs, sensors, and drive-by-wire hardware before code ever touches a physical vehicle. You will design real-time hardware test benches, execute fault-injection suites, and validate ASIL functional safety mechanisms under hardware-accurate conditions.

## What they're looking for

- Education: B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or Robotics
- Experience: 5+ years in HIL test environment development and execution for autonomous driving, ADAS, or automotive systems
- Technical Mastery:
- Proven expertise setting up and operating commercial HIL hardware (dSPACE SCALEXIO/AutoBox, NI PXI, Vector VT System)
- Advanced scripting skills in Python and MATLAB/Simulink for automated test execution
- Deep understanding of CAN, CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, LIN, SPI, and GMSL/FPD-Link protocols
