## About the role

GEM is seeking a senior investment professional to join our Investment Research Group and lead our venture capital secondaries and co-investment practice. This professional will report to the Managing Director of Venture Capital and will play a central role in sourcing, evaluating, and executing secondary transactions and co-investment opportunities across the technology and venture capital landscape.

## What they're looking for

- Contribute to building a best-in-class venture capital program across primaries, secondaries and co-investments
- Lead GEM’s secondaries and co-investment practice, an integral and growing part of its overall venture capital program
- Identify and assess secondary market opportunities, including LP interest sales and structured liquidity solutions
- Source and evaluate co-investment opportunities alongside GEM’s venture capital and technology-focused fund managers
- Lead underwriting and due diligence on secondary transactions and co-investments, including financial modeling, market analysis, and reference checks
- Build and maintain relationships with top-tier venture capital managers, technology investors, and intermediaries in the Bay Area and beyond
