## About the role

As a Business Development Manager your key area of responsibility will be driving sustainable financial growth and developing strong relationships with customers by focusing efforts onto a specific region/platform/business. You will need to work closely with Business Segment teams, Partner Account Managers (PAMs), Resellers, and internal Geotab departments. To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter with strong negotiation, diplomacy, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills.

## What they're looking for

- 5-8 years experience in business development, sales, or account management specifically within the Mobility Analytics, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Smart City, or Traffic Technology sectors
- Ability to travel up to 50%. A passport is required
- Proven track record in developing new sales and accounts
- Experience in the telematics industry
- Strong aptitude for understanding technical and business requirements
- Able to anticipate and understand customer’s needs and provide viable solutions
